For a client pitch we wanted to show some video capabilities that we’d been working on. As part of that, we wanted to do a lifestyle series to capture a variety of different moods. All of the shoots were no budget – a couple of rentals and one or two people on location. Music has been changed from the original pitch due to copyright.
This video was shot on Governor’s Island, one of the few places that you can hide from NYC while still being in NYC. The island has beautiful grass, hammocks and the sound of the water crashing around it. They don’t allow vehicles, so the sounds of NYC traffic and yelling doesn’t exist. It’s the perfect place to lay back, breathe some air, and relax.
Shot with a one man crew on a Sony a7s II, using 24-70mm lens and an Edelkrone slider. Edited in Premiere Pro CC.
